How do I make your pattern into a cutout?
When cutting a wood pattern I like to stick a copy of the pattern on the wood.
This allows me to cut more accurately, and when you get the piece know what it was.

The Pattern
I only use a water based UHU glue stick, this makes it easy to get off when you are ready to paint.
Yes I said you, I like to leave the picture on. Not everyone gets round to painting as soon as my work arrives on the doorstep, and it's always nice to know what it is you have.

So turn it over and stick it on the wood. Simple......

To the Saw, and the pattern takes on shape

All Done, and you can see how hard the pattern is glued to wood.

But if the pattern doesn't come off easy or rips as you pull it off,
then just put a damp rag on the top for a few seconds and the paper and glue
will loosen and can be removed easily. I use a plastic ruler as a scraper to remove the pattern.
There is no glue residue and you should be ready to paint or Gesso .
